It was a high school honor's English assignment to read Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice that set Marie on her path to becoming a historical romance writer. She instantly fell in love with the Regency Era and began a long journey of studying and researching all she could about the time period. She has always been intrigued by Medieval England and learning about great knights, Kings, and Princesses; so she too writes about this time period. Also, Marie's paternal grandfather hailed from England and ever since childhood, she was enthralled with everything about England and its inhabitants. It is her dream to one day visit England.
Marie holds a degree in Early Childhood Education from Post University, she's taught preschool for many years. She's also an editor, blogger, and avid reader. Marie is engaged to her very own sweet, romantic Hero.
Marie loves to take the reader into another place and time and introduce them to some strong-willed heroines who often challenge societal rules of the time and pair them with equally strong-willed and at times stubborn Heroes who bring out the sweet, romantic and oh yes, deeply passionate sides of each other.
